You can access the entire documentary and many others by going to www.pbs.org. PBS online offers the majority of their programs to be streamed or downloaded. Ode to Portland: I love you so!
When trying to find a video to actually portray my hometown Portland, Oregon, USA, I was stuck between two videos. The first was a Iraq War protest from last year where young anarchist burned a life size stuffed mannequin of a US soldier while chanting "Fascist war is nothing new, its not just Bush but the soldiers too." However, I decided to go with the more light hearted video of Portland's dedication to bicycles.
My Brooklyn Home: Asterisk Art Project
When I move to New York in the summer of 2007, I was bless upon by Craigsist to discover my east coast home in Bushwick, BK. 'Asterisk' was one the initial artist lofts in the area, and still remains to pump out some of the best underground musicians and artist in New York. Including the Mindspray Crew, Langhorne Slim, Lightning Bolt, and many more. Also, my roommate Adam informs me that on their first American tour, the infamous Parisian DJs 'Justice' held the after party down at Asterisk. Although we hold showings for visual artists and photographers regularly, we were bless with a round table discussion by new millennium author author Daniel Pinchbeck. Asterisk is devoted to the grassroots artist development of New York, and continues to contribute to the community as a preformance stage, band practice space, recording studio, clothing design workshop, and visual art/graphic design production. I should return to Brooklyn shortly, when I can reunite w/ my brothers at this historical art project.
The video above is from the event, Fall Down, an all day art and music festival held in 2007. It features my roommate Broke, some house friendly animals, and many local underground artist.
Explosions in the Sky Crash Scene
This video is the crash scene from the ski flim "Long Story Short" by Level One Productions. The scene is so perfect due to the soundtrack: Explosions in the Sky's "Have You Passed Through This Night?" off their album 'Those Who Tell the Truth Shall Die, Those Who Tell the Truth Shall Live Forever." Explosions in the Sky get their inspiration from the oppression of north Texas coal mines, rather fitting for a brutal crash segment. It is one of my favorite flicks to come out in the last few years, and I own all the Explosion in the Sky albums. Enjoy the painful entertainment!

Busta Rhymes & J Dilla Remix
This is the video "Oh Haa" by Busta Rhymes remixed by one of my favorite producers Jay-Dee aka J Dilla. Mad props to Busta holding it down in the mainstream, he is just so crazy in this video. Also, much love to J Dilla (R.I.P.), 'your favorite producers favorite producer,' who lost his life to Lupus in early 2006.
